He's not corrupt but totally inept and not ready for the PL. He lost control of the game early on and was easily conned by the Villa players.

The bloke made Sunday league Referees look like Collina! Looked totally out of his depth and fell for the play acting. Shocking in so many ways. I don't particularly like the likes of Mike Dean but at least he always looks in control, this bloke, oh dear.

Why wasn’t he taken in by Haller being fouled from both the front and back and awarding us a penalty?
Instead he gave the foul to Villa

The booking of Fornals seemed a bit bizarre when Grealish clearly did a reverse 4 and a half somersault off the middle spring board.

They cheated more. That's why the naive ref gave them so many fouls compared to the number he gave us.

It was so bad I'd be checking his bank account. We were on the end of a few late tackles and got nothing yet they can jump in the air clutching their leg at any point and pick where they want a free kick from. The yellow card for Fornals was absolute comedy.
